• 50% of Aussies and Australian Shepherds carry a gene mutation called MDR1 (multi drug resistance 1) MDR1 is NOT life threatening unless given medicines that can cause toxicity. Ivermectin is at the top of the list!

• Size is the most obvious difference in a Mini Aussie and Australian Shepherd.
